Welcome to the Lake and Mountain Quilters Guild Home Page. We are committed to preserving and continuing the traditions, culture, and history of quilting in Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens Counties here in the Golden Corner of northwestern South Carolina.

We also wish to:

Promote fellowship among persons interested in all aspects of quilting.

Contribute to the knowledge and appreciation of fine quilts.

Sponsor and support quilting activities.

Encourage quilt making and collecting.

Invite our members to support charitable quilting projects for needy members of our local, state, national, and worldwide communities.

Contribute to the growth of knowledge of quilting techniques, textiles, patterns, and quilt makers through educational meetings and travel.

When there are workshop slots open and not being filled by LMQG guild members, the LMQG Program Committee opens these workshops to other quilters. To view a list of open workshops and get information about how to sign up for them, click the button.
