This is the Dresden Plate block that will hang on our own Jenny G's barn
located on Route 28.
This quilt shows a block designed by LMQG's Gil and Pat Huggins. It is
in the process of being turned into an Oconee Heritage Quilt Trail
Block. Stay tuned for details about its completion and whereit will hang.
Jenny's Dresden Plate block was installed on her barn recently. Present
for the mounting ceremony are: (L-R) Beatriz Ruinen of LMQG,Bob and
Peggy Cornette (Jenny's daughter and son-in-law), Chris Troy, trail
production team leader, Jenny, Pat Edgerton, a local artist from BRAC,
Martha File, project coordinator, Cindy Blair, production team member,
and the team from Blue Ridge Electric who did all the hard work of
mounting the block. The barn is located on Highway 76/Route 28 near
Sweet Treats and across from the Par 3 Golf Course.
